SERP = Search Engine Results Page. Almost ALL of your visitors come from the SERP. NOT from PR or Alexa. And why is that ? The results that the user receives from the SE is known as SERP ( Search Engine Results Page). Another issue brought up within this thread is PR for your own url. Once you have been Indexed by a SE you should have a PR of 1 for your site url - name. BUT - unless your site is the "Buzz" of the month, no one in their right mind ( except the site owner) is going to do a search for your site, since they do not know about your site. If they do - then they would just put your url in the address bar.
So the upshot is - you better do the proper SEO for your sites SERP to get visitors and start making money. I have daily sales from just two specific keyword phrases. If I had to wait for sales from PR or Alexa, I would be starving !"
